Collection Merchandiser Update Oct 24

October 2024 sees one of the biggest updates to Collection Merchandiser, with over 15 new tools and features.


Analytics Dashboard

  • It's now possible to search and filter products and collections in the new Analytics suite.
  • You can see all performance metrics for any product or collection at a glance, as well as filter to find the best or worst performing.
  • Create reusable filters with your choice of preselected options, to quickly find specific groups of products or collections.

Product & Collection Analytics Overview

  • Click any product or collection to open the Analytics Overview. From here you can see all performance data over any period.
  • Uncover trends with our performance over time graphs - showing any metric (from simple page views to algorithmic Collection Merchandiser Performance Scores) over a specific timeframe.

Product & Collection Insights

  • Collection Merchandiser becomes your own personal data analyst
  • Open the Insights page to unlock the secrets of your products and collections. Collection Merchandiser analyses all the metrics it has on your store, and uncovers impactful insights you might never know existed.
  • Find out high performing products that are not getting seen, products with a high collection click through rate that are not promoted on collection pages, underperforming products that keep popping up when users view your collections, and so much more.
  • Insight badges are live too! These are a quick colour-coded way to see important Insights against products as your merchandising.

Improved Performance Scores

  • Performance Scores are one of the most powerful tools you can use while merchandising. See at a a glance your product/collection's performance compared to your store as a whole. And they've just gotten better!
  • We've simplified Performance Scores so each product or collection has one score - a true representation of how it's performing compared to all your other products/collections.
  • Even more metrics included - together with our Insights platform, Performance Scores have become more advanced analysing a host of metrics to give you an advanced overview that other stores don't have.
  • New calculation - for most stores 20% of products account for 80% of sales. Performance Scores previously were heavily weighted against your average performing product or collection. Our new calculation is more strict. While there may be more lower scores, and fewer larger scores, these will be a more accurate representation of how product/collection is performing.

Performance Indicators

  • To help you understand the wealth of knowledge Collection Merchandiser offers on your products and collections, we've introduced Performance Indicators.
  • See at a glance whether any metric is High, Medium or Low. Whether it's views, click through rate, collection engagement, etc., you can see quickly wether this is a standout product/collection or something that needs a little work.
  • Performance Indicators are available throughout the app, helping you merchandise however you suits you.
